Substantial Cost Savings on Incoming Invoices for The Red Cross
Wilco van Wijck, Finance Manager, Netherlands Red Cross, explains: “Implementing AX and ISPnext's automatic inbound invoice processing solution enabled us to set up our accounting system more efficiently." After all, we want to spend donations on our relief efforts and as little as possible on indirect costs. We are now achieving significant savings because fewer operations are required to process and pay an incoming invoice, and we no longer need physical storage of invoices.

The tax authority has already given us approval on shredding the invoices! Furthermore, we believe it is very important that budget holders always have insight into their invoices. We often work with grant projects. Upon completion of such a project, and sometimes in the interim, we provide financial accountability. In the past, that meant that the employee in charge had to spend a lot of time in the accounting department to retrieve all the relevant invoices. These days, we can simply retrieve the right invoices at the push of a button. The budget holders are obviously very happy about that!"
"In early 2012, I attended an ISPnext seminar. I had been interested in a similar solution for some time, but missed certain features in the solutions I had seen. During ISPnext's seminar, for the first time, a potential vendor directly responded positively to all of our requirements. Furthermore, ISPnext also showed extensive details of the solution in a demonstration. We did review some information from other potential vendors, but quickly made the final choice for ISP-Invoice, Invoice Automation. ISPnext offers us everything we first thought would either be difficult or impossible," says van Wijck.
"like any business, the Netherlands Red Cross had an interest in efficient operations."
