iHUB uses the Spend Analytics data for many purposes. Paul van Wijngaarden says: ''We use Spend Analytics as an analysis tool to optimise and further automate our procurement processes. We do this, for example, by setting default fields. This allows us to make efficiency gains. This has already led to great results: in fact, we process 30,000 invoices with 3.5 FTE.''
Furthermore, one of the goals at iHUB is to increase the order rate. Paul explains how they are accomplishing this: ''The Spend Analytics solution provides insight into where we are, what the current order rate is and what we can realistically work towards it. We use many KPIs in the solution and have configured the cost centres to align with our regional structure. This way we can show KPIs by region and actively track the progress of our improvements. In addition, we use the solution to check whether invoices have been booked correctly, which can also factor in the historical booking. With the Spend Analytics dashboard functionalities, we have insight into periodic commitments and how many purchase invoices are processed periodically based on different order types, such as catalogue or order form.''
