Louwman Group strengthens grip on financial processes with ISPnext

The cloud solutions contribute to easier management, lower operational costs and better accessibility for users, increasing ease of use. For Louwman, this was an important consideration when switching from their previous systems to ISPnext.

The move to a single platform represented a major change for Louwman Group. Previously, different systems ran independently of each other, leading to inefficiencies and a lack of insight. With ISPnext's AP Automation solution, there is now a unified approach. This has led to more control, insight and standardisation within the financial processes. In addition, the software offers flexibility to link with various ERP systems, such as SAP ECC.

In addition to AP Automation, Louwman Group now works with Spend Analytics and Contract Management. These modules provide better insight into spending patterns and a more efficient contract management strategy. Spend Analytics allows Louwman to analyse trends and make strategic decisions to cut costs. Contract Management helps the organisation manage contracts centrally and ensure compliance with agreements. Wouter says that using these modules has already added a lot of value: "Thanks to the software, we have gained more grip on quality and insight into our processes. Flexibility in employee deployment has also improved."

Although Louwman Group currently benefits greatly from its existing solutions, it is also looking at further expansion. "Perhaps we will consider working with Procurement in the future," says Wouter. For now, this project is on-hold as the focus is now on optimising current processes. ‘From our ambition to further streamline processes, we aim to eventually work nationwide with integrated solutions from ISPnext."

The move to a unified solution allows Louwman Group to work ever more efficiently. Employees can complete routine tasks faster, while the audit module helps to continuously monitor and improve processes.

"You have grown considerably, but the short lines of communication remain, which is nice," says Wouter. "The company and the employees are very approachable. This contributes to successful implementation and support." With a clear vision of the future, Louwman Group continues to invest in innovation. Technologies such as AI and robotisation play an important role in their pursuit of operational excellence. This aligns with their ambition to streamline and standardise financial processes nationwide. Wouter stresses, "For the finance function, especially AP, effectiveness and efficiency will have to increase further. This is crucial to achieve operational excellence."
